Excellent staff, motivated pupils and participative families working together to provide an inclusive, quality education - making Pinelands North Primary a leading school on which other schools model themselves.

ENROLMENTS

1. Forms are available at the school secretary’s office or from the website all year round.

2. Application forms are returned to the secretary’s office, accompanied by :

• a copy of the child’s ID or birth certificate

• proof of residence

• a copy of the child’s clinic card

• a copy of the latest preschool/school report.

3. Applications for grade 1 are processed from the beginning of February until the end of May.

4. Every family who returns an application form for grade 1 is interviewed by the Principal, or her deputy, and the child is seen by the Foundation Phase HOD. Interviews for other grades are held in October only if places are available in the grade.

5. At the Principal/parent meeting, issues such as paying school fees, the costs involved, extramural activities offered, parent involvement, discipline and our religious policy, are discussed.  Parents are encouraged to ensure that their children can swim when they start school.

6. On admission, a transfer form from the previous school should be given to the school secretary.
